From Founder to Executive Leader

My mission is to translate strategic visions into tangible, digital growth. I see myself as a bridge-builder between the C-level and operational execution that delivers measurable results.

My journey has taken me from a pioneer in the early days of the mobile internet, through being a passionate founder, to a strategic executive leader and interim consultant. This diverse range of experiences allows me to view complex challenges from multiple perspectives and develop holistic solutions that prove successful in practice.

My professional career began at otto.de, where I helped shape early mobile business activities. However, the entrepreneurial phase was crucial. As the founder of VITABOTE GMBH, I built an entire business model from the ground up in a highly regulated environment, secured a seven-figure funding round, and through systematic experimentation, halved the cost per order in six months while doubling monthly orders.

With this founder experience, I returned to the corporate world. As Head of Innovation Management at the OTTO GROUP, I orchestrated the group-wide innovation portfolio, piloting over 60 proof-of-concepts and scaling 15+ into production. Introducing Dynamic Pricing led to a ~20% revenue lift, while CGI reduced content costs by ~50%. My role as Vice President New Business at the BAUER MEDIA GROUP was the logical continuation. Here, I led a buy-and-build SaaS venture and was responsible for M&A integrations and international market launches that culminated in a global rollout.

Since 2021, I have been supporting companies like MEDSKIN SOLUTIONS AG as a transformation architect, where I modernized the digital infrastructure and built new revenue streams. By optimizing two international shops, D2C revenue increased by +25% year-over-year. Simultaneously, implementing a new CRM system doubled qualified leads. My current role as Interim CDO, CPO & Digital Transformation Consultant is the culmination of these diverse experiences. I help companies realign their roadmaps and build data-driven foundations to achieve sustainable growth.

As Interim CPO/COO, I increased conversion and retention rates by integrating systems and improving the checkout UX. At MEDSKIN SOLUTIONS AG, I was responsible for the digital strategy, leading to D2C revenue growth of +25% and an increase in ROAS by 10 percentage points.

As the founder of VITABOTE GMBH and ORDERTHIS, I built new business models from scratch, acquired seven-figure funding, and navigated complex environments. This hands-on founder experience shapes my later work as an executive in large corporations, allowing me to master operational challenges and effectively steer complex projects like M&A integrations, CRM transformations, and the establishment of new operating models.
